Good luck with that. When I ordered my blank from him, his wife said that it would be 14 weeks. 14 weeks later John said that he'd need a few more weeks "if I still wanted it." 9 months later I still have no eta . . . and this is just for a blank, not even a finished cue! :(

That's a very pretty blank. Love the ebony nose. Without any slight meant, most of the Davis blanks I've seen haven't showed up very well in pics. How are these ? Straight at the top ? How is the cut of the veneers ? (i.e. matching well or gappy) Does the tulipwood make it all the way up into the veneers ?

Thanks Dale. Never having cut a blank down, I was wondering whether some of the stuff that occurs at the larger size follows the blank as you move towards the smalller size. Offering money back is the sign of a classy seller. Can't ask too much more than that.

I've got an old frey with a hoppe ring, linen wrap, coco joint and two shafts. Needs a refinish. Any interest ?
