Kenny Murrell is a master machinist, and a superb cuemaker. This cue is a testament to his skills. This is one of the nicest butterfly cues that you will ever see. When I received the cue, it was nice, but the UV finish had lifted in a couple of places. I sent it back to Kenny, and he completely refinished it back to new condition. I also had him add a genuine black lizard wrap.
You will see butterfly cues quite often, but the butterflies are usually between the points, or something similar. Kenny did this one different. He built the cue with four butterfly points with two veneers, and he brought the four spliced points up out of the butterflies. He said this was incredibly difficult and time consuming, and that he would not build another one. He also stated that this cue would be well over $2000 from him, due to the complexity.
This cue is straight, together and apart.
