As for using this tip on a breaker/playing sneaky cue, I don`t see why not.
I have had a few azers put these tips on there player/breaking cue and they PM`d me back saying that they were quite please with the results. Whenever you need a new tip, send me a PM and we can go from there.
Thanks for your question & have a great day.

Very Good Tips

These are very good tips. Played with one for the first time last night for a few hours. Pretty much as good as every one has been saying.

Good amount of grip and spin. And I like the fact that I can get this amount of spin with a harder tip. It's more consistent and therefore more predictable. One time I had an unusually soft Triangle and I never knew from one shot to the next where I was going to end up. Low on miscues too. I did miscue off the top of the ball a couple times, but due to extreme high and maybe not chalking enough. No miscues with bottom so far.

No signs of mushrooming so far and I don't expect it. Nice hard tip. As for keeping it's shape on the crown, I've only played with it one session so far, but it seems as good as any hard Triangle I've had, probably better.

(When it comes to that topic, I'll just say leather is leather and I never expect any tip to not need reshaping. If a tip is hard enough to not ever need reshaping, then it's made of metal and too hard to be playable. Of course this depends on the shape you like. Seems to me that people who like nickel radius have less of an issue with this compared to those of us who like dime.)

So very good tips from pooldawg8 here and at a reasonable price too.

Jeff-

Pm me please w/p/pal info.

I'll take 10. Fathers day is coming.

Thanks.

You know I like em.:grin-square:

I second Tattoo's description of Jeff. I'm trying to get So Cal on the 'dawgduds'.

"Dawgduds" - good name to call them, I like that.

BTW, here's a link to Jeff's earlier thread where there are a lot more comments about how good the Dawgduds play.

Hi Jeff-

As stated-I like them-a lot. So much that I give them as small gifts-a 'try one' thing.

You know how it is in the pool room-someone will ask what tip do you use?

I let them hit it a while and most like it a lot. And then I give them one to try.

They keep their shape and their 'grab'.

Great product from one of the good guys.

Jeff-take care

ps: Myron says hello-he like em too. He's putting more on his customer's shafts these days. They come from you-to me-to him. We're getting the word out.

Thanks for your kind words Bill. It means alot to me that you guys are spreading them around to different people to try out. You are also one of the good guys from this site. Our deals are always smoooooooth as butter. Got alot more for sale. Thanks again

My 2 Cents

While I don't have the same amount of experience as A LOT of other people on this forum...I'd like to put in my 2 cents...I've played numerous single layer as well as multi-layerd tips and am a slightly better than average player.

I received my new tips in the mail today and about broke my ankle running back from the mailbox to get one put on a shaft and hit some balls with it...I've been peeking through the blinds for two days waiting on the mailman to deliver these (stupid USPS doesn't run on Sundays!).

I've only hit about 10 racks with this installed on a wood to wood 3/8x10 Ivorine collar cue. I used both a 2 1/4 cue ball as well as a 2 3/8 oversized cue ball.

This tip hits like a dream. It changed the entire dynamics of the cue. (Yeah I know...DUH! statement).

I have hated the soft tips that I have played in the past because the hit felt "mushy", but I liked the spin (English/Draw) I could put on the cue ball.

I have hated the hard tips I have played in the past because I couldn't get as much spin at times that I needed/wanted, but liked the durability.

I was not ready for the very "solid" feel I got from these tips as well as the TREMENDOUS amount of spin I could generate. I am going to have to put numerous "extra" hours on the table to get used to what these tips can do.

I ordered 5 tips last week...and just for the record, after I get done typing this, I'm sending a PM to order 10 more!

I have dealt with quite a few people here on AZ...and nearly every one has left a good impression. I have read this thread (numerous times) and have seen the nice things people were saying about Jeff...they weren't kind enough in my opinion. If you notice, Jeff takes the time to thank every person who has tried his tips...as well as those just asking questions...he thanks them. He's not thanking people to make a killing selling these tips (in my opinion, Jeff isn't charging enough for these tips...but wait to raise your prices until after I order my other 10, would you Jeff!), he thanks people because that's how he is...an absolute pleasure to deal with!!!

So, before I forget to say it myself...Jeff, thank you! Sending you another PM!

Jason

Ok I have heard of these pressed tips, now I want some. Couple questions though, Y do u call them Milk Duds? and can u soak and press a Le Pro or would it make it too hard? - I have tried a Sniper before and hated it. ( I am used to a Kamui Medium and dont have any problem at all with getting english) Pm me with your address and amount, I would like 2.

PM sent back. Hope I answered your questions for you. Thanks for inquiring.
