Just wanted in chime in and say don't be afraid to deal with Elliot. He is straight up.

I have received some questions about how clean the cue is. When i took the pics I think there was some dust on the lens which makes it seem like there is some dirt on the butt and shafts. This is an illusion. The cue is very clean.

A few folks have asked, so I have updated the description to show that the cue bears the signature "Carmeli Shop"

what is the difference between being signed Ariel Carmelli or Carmelli shop?

I also am curious about the difference. I think I have an idea, but I really don't know. If someone can define the difference, that will help me make a decision on this cue!

Judging by the design/pin it looks like one of Ariel's cues, he may have just worded the title to spice it up a little. If it is one of Ariel's cues that is DAMN cheap for all of that work and nice wood.

If I were to make a wager, i would venture to guess that it is a cue that was NOT made by Ariel Carmeli but perhaps by an apprentice or someone else working in his shop.

BTW, it may have been stated elsewhere in the thread. I'm not too certain. But what is the significance of 'Palomino'?

Straight from the horse's mouth:

I just called Ariel and he said "It was built here, probably about 75% by me. All the important and finish work was done by me" He said likely the remainder of the work was done by our very own jazznpool (Martin). So he'll likely chime in and correct me on the details.

Either way, nothing leaves Ariel's shop that he doesn't 110% approve of. You can rest assured this is a quality cue and a great deal.

Hope that helps!

Man I have been calling him for months with no response, he still owes me a cue damn it!! Will try him again, at least you got the info on the cue. Great job James.

Cool. Nice job Martin.

Now where does the 'Palomino' come from? Is that the name of the cue? Or is that the name Martin is going to use as a cuemaker? Just curious.

Free bump either way. Cue looks nice.

It looks like there are dark spots on the shafts. Those really throw me off. Are there sugar spots in the wood? Thanks.

Thank you Dank. If that's dust from the lense, maybe he could clean the lense, and retake the pics. By the way, I did "read" that response. Comprehension and communication. Yay, Yay.
