Made an offer and he accepted I spent all day trying to get off work too deposit the money and when I get home I send the payment. Then I open a message that says he is selling it to his friend and he is refunding me my money. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL in my opinion the deal was made I went out of my way to complete it just to get pushed aside?
Too top it off my paypal now has a hold on the cash for who knows how long so hey thanks a lot kyelin

How does paypal "have" your cash? The only way they can do that is through ebay, otherwise they have no right to do so.
I guess so, but if he has (probably does) a debit card from paypal his money isn't really frozen.

kind of convenient that your "friend" came along around the same time this person made you an offer especially when the cue has been for sale here on az for quite some time?

WE haggled back and forth and met at 1200 I deposited the money next day and paid paypal just to open a message that said he was selling it to another guy

Sounds to me like the seller backed out of the deal to sell to a buddy that possibly lives locally which would mean no overseas shipping, international transfer of money, and overall a deal done quick. Still sucks though. When a guy goes to work all day thinking he has a ST on the way, busts ass to get home to make the deal work only to find out the rug has been pulled out from underneath him, it could mean for a totally shitty day.
