Here is a real nice Mace J/B cue from Rick Howard. You all know that Rick makes some of the finest playing J/B cues available, so I won't put a lot of BS in here about that...they just play great. This one is no exception. It hits really great. I tried it out tonight at the pool room..smashes the break and jumps easily. This cue is made out of some really nice birdseye. It has been a player and has a couple of light dings in it, but I have it priced accordingly.

Specifications:

-Full Butt: 14.8oz (adjustable)
-Jump handle: 5.1oz, 13"
-Shaft: 3.5oz, 12.9mm, looks to be Aegis ferrule, phenolic tip..
-Both main and jump joint are flatfaced 5/16x18
-Black phenolic joint collars
-Very nicely figured birdseye foreamr
-Black phenolic collar at the jump joint
-Tan/brown spacks irish linen wrap
-Solid birdseye butt sleeve
-Black phenolic butt cap with a couple of slight nicks on the edge...nothing serious
-"MACE" logo right above the butt cap

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

Exactly...the abalone dot marks the "least deflection" of the shaft when in the up position.

Rick made some with a silver dot that marked the sweet spot when the dot was up.

I never knew he did that and I have had lots of his cues, second hand and from him. Just out of curiosity, how do they determine that and what would be the difference if it was up or down.
