Here is a really sweet player from Leon Sly. Leon builds some awesome playing cues...ask anyone who plays with one. The taper of his shafts is one of the most "player friendly" and best hitting that I have seen...feels really good through the stroke zone. This particular cue has a very nice piece of tight-grained maple for the shaft. No sugar or mineral marks or any of the grain run-out that you often see associated with lower-cost cues. Leon did not reach into his "left-over" bin for this shaft. The richly stained birdseye in this cue has a ton of figure, too. This cue is brand new...unchalked/unplayed.

Specifications:
-Butt: 15.5oz
-Shaft: 3.7oz, 12.8mm, LBM, Everest
-5/16x14 piloted, stainless steel joint
-Black phenolic joint collars with silverbeauty rings
-Both the forearm and butt sleeve are of nicely figured birdseye/curly maple, stained in a rich brown color...looks REALLY good
-White with black specks irish linen wrap
-Triple veneer ring of black/white/black above the butt cap
-White delrin butt cap
-Balance point of 18-3/4"
-Note that the cue is "signed and dated" under the wrap, on the handle, per Leon

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

Definitely vouch for Leon's cues and shafts.
He doesn't scrimp on the shaft wood.
The hit is superb.

I can tell you for a fact that this cue has a very nice piece of shaft wood. Tight grain structure, very good taper...feels great in your hands.

Joe. I have one just like this coming from Leon, honey maple stain w/ white w light green speck linen wrap. This cue costs a lot more than what you're asking. I doubt if Leon will let one go cheap again because he will have the $$$ for his tooling given to him by me TODAY. Leon has back orders for high end cues that the tooling was holding up. NO MORE !!!
BUMP !!!
Bob
p.s. on second thought, if it's not sold by midnight tonight i'll send you a check.

Thanks Joe, Leon is raising the bar with the veneered customs that he is now building.
Leon will be puting the extra time into his customs to rank them up with the best makers for sure.
