I have had this cue from another man's collection in my possession for some time. I looked at it for a long time, and decided to buy the cue, along with some others, myself. If you want a top quality, very unique cue, this is the cue for you.

I have had a ton of inquiries over the months, but could not "deal" as the cue was not mine. Now, it is mine.

Cue is temporarily unavailable!! Thanks!

Specifications:

-Butt: 14.3 ounces
-Shaft 1: 3.9 ounces, 12.95mm, Ivory ferrule
-Shaft 2: 4.2 ounces, 13.25mm, Ivory ferrule
-Piloted Ivory joint, 5/16x14
-Very nice index rings at A/B
-Brazilian Rosewood forearm
-Four razor sharp Macassar Ebony points with 4 veneers, yellow, green, green, yellow
-The points are finished off by structurally integrated Ivory diamonds in the point ends
-Cognac colored, genuine Lizard wrap
-Solid Brazilian Rosewood butt sleeve
-Solid Ivory butt cap

Excellent, crisp hit. The most Ivory you will see in a cue for anywhere near this price.

Joe

FYI, this is probably the closest hit to a Szamboti you can find & for a fraction of the cost!

The shaft construction on my Tex Cue is identical to Gus's shafts. Apparently, Tex used to shoot with a Szam. Tex told me that he started making cues back in 1981, so he certainly knows what he is doing after all these years.

Since many of us have tried to get on the Barry list and can't, this is the next best thing, IMO!

Hmm! That is something I did not know. Thanks, Bandana.

THAT WOULD BE NEWS TO ME AS WELL.......

TEX ACTUALLY HAS A USER ID HERE NOW, BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT IT IS.

Tex-A-Cue is his ID!

Great guy & I don't understand why he isn't better known for his quality work.

He works out of Pete Fusco's Spot now.

Hey Joe,

Does the shaft have the same ring work as the joint does? Great cue by the way.

Wow! That is crazy. What he has done with the veneers at the top makes my head feel like I am going to have a seizure.

Yes it does. The rings are quite unlike any I have seen before. They have a standard 8 dash with 16 maple boxes. In between each maple box is a double veneer of the green/yellow. Sweet!!

Isn't that wild!!??!! Unlike anything I have ever seen.

i know tex personally also.. and he told me one time that the way he makes the rings, he has to do each ring one at a time..

he also made blanks for some well known cue makers...

too bad to took like 20 years off or he would probably be right along side these guys..

Electric Green Veneers`

Do you have to pull off the bumper and put in a couple AA batteries evey few months to keep the veneers lit up?

Beautiful Cue
