Here is a brand new, test hit only mexican cocobolo Josey player. This cue was just built, and was picked up at the SBE, and it has only test hit a few racks...pretty much brand new. The photos do nothing for the woods...the mexican cocobolo is crazy figured. Nothing does a cue design better than a nice piece of Mother Nature's finest wood...this is one of them. Just take a look at the color and swirling. In addition to that, it plays great...very neutral balance to the cue. It just feels like an extension of your hand.

Specs:
-Butt: 15.3oz
-Shaft 1: 3.9oz, 13mm, melamine ferrule, Triangle tip
-Shaft 2: 4.1oz, 13mm, melamine ferrule, Kamui medium tip
-Cue balances approximately 18.5-19" from end of butt
-Radial pin, wood to wood joint
-Black phenolic joint collars
-Black phenolic and double silver beauty rings at all positions, A/B/C/D/E
-Absolutely crazy Mexican Cocobolo forearm and butt sleeve...super figure
-Black irish linen wrap
-Black phenolic butt cap
-Signed "Josey 2011"
-JPs included

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

That coco is just crazy! Someone is gonna get a nice player!!

Thanks Lisa...it looks much nicer than the pix indicate...I just can't get the contrast between the colors to "pop" out of the pix like they do in the actual wood.

I can attest to the beauty of the wood in this cue as I was fortunate to see it in person during a visit to Keith's shop. Whoever gets this cue will definitely not be disappointed in the wood! I'm sure it plays fantastic like all Josey cues do.

Yes, it is crazy and stunning. Here are some more pix, but you need to be able to hold the cue in your hands and roll it around to appreciate it.

That cue just screams PLAYER!!!

I know that Keith's build times have increased somewhat due to a rising demand for his cues...here's one that is minty fresh and ready to go now!!! Nice weight for a coco cue too. And with 2 shafts, this is actually a steal.

Lisa,
I hit some balls with it this afternoon...it is truly a real sweet player. Keith Josey builds a fine playing cue, no doubt about it.

As for the wood, it is remarkable. If you were standing with the cue, off to the side of the table, it would look almost like ebony...dark all over. Then, when you come into the light of the table, the wood starts to "pop" out. The brighter the light, the crazier the grain and swirls look. Absolutely sick!!

Josey

~ Love the swirley cocobolo.
~ Love the firm play of a Josey.
~ Love the fact it's missing the motonous/done to death Josey CNC work.

If I could justify another cue, I'd swoop it up. Good luck with the sale Bama.

So nice to hear, I was so close to pull the trigger but I have so many cues and one on the way from Keith:).
I`m pretty sure that the buyer will be real happy!.
