Here is a beautifully understated full splice conversion of a Purpleheart on Purpleheart blank made by legendary cue builder John Davis. This cue was converted by Cory Barnhart, whose work will be featured in the April edition of Inside Pool. Cory is a master craftsman, and this cue is no exception. This is a tremendous buy, especially when you consider that a Davis blank alone is now selling for $375-450.

Specifications:

- Butt: 15.0 ounces
- Shaft 1: 4.0 ounces, 12.95mm, Aegis ferrule, Moori tip
- Shaft 2: 4.0 ounces, 12.95mm, Aegis ferrule, Moori tip
- Brass radial pin, wood to wood joint
- Black phenolic joint collars
- Hand inlaid silver dots at A/B/E (60 dots, total)
- Purpleheart forearm
- Four purpleheart razor sharp points with 3 veneers, blue, black, blue

- Signed "Barnhart" in the butt cap

Now thats a purple cue !!!
nice cue..

The color of the cue is much more subtle in person. The blue veneers seem to stand out much more than the purpleheart does.
