I am putting these cues up for a friend. He builds cues out of Lubbock, TX known as S & S Cues. He is easy to work with and can build anything you would like. He is great to deal with and will treat you right!

If you have any questions, if you are interested in these cues, or if you are wanting to discuss possibly ordering a cue, please contact Paul Sumrall @ 806-778-1957. Paul will be able to give more detailed specs for each of these cues.

I will also be glad to answer any questions that I receive. I will answer to the best of my ability, however, any discrepencies will need to be verified with Paul.

From left to right:

1. Bocote into Ebony full splice with red/black/red/black veneers. Ivory 3/8x10 joint, 2 shafts with ivory ferrules & morri tips. The shafts have white phenolic collars, but can be changed to ivory if desired. The butt cap is an ivory substitute with black and white ring work. There are 4 ebony diamonds above the butt cap inlayed with ivory diamonds.
$800

2. Ebony into Birdseye maple full splice with black/purple/red/yellow veneers. Ivory lightning bolt inlay & thick ivory hoppe ring. SS radial joint, 2 shafts with ivory ferrules.
NFS

3. Ebony into Birdseye maple full splice with Titlist veneers, purple, teal, brown, maple. Silver rings in butt above a thin ivory hoppe ring. 4 ivory diamond inlays between the rings. SS piloted 5/16x14 joint, 2 shafts w/ivory ferrules.
$900

4. Ebony into Birdseye maple full splice with veneers. I'm not completely sure on the veneer colors, but I think they are black, red, purple, maple. Fancy ringwork with starburst inlays, leather wrap. SS piloted 5/16x14 joint, 2 shafts w/ivory ferrules.
$800

Thanks for the compliments! He builds the full splice in his shop, he doesn't buy blanks.

Beautiful cues

Hi John,
Wow these are some great looking cues. Of course i would love to have the one that's not for sale... my luck

Thanks! Call Paul and talk to him....that's his personal cue at the moment....

everytime he builds a cue for himself, someone else wants it and he sells it. I ask him why he sells it, he always says that he can build another one...

Paul does good work

Well, I got to check out Paul's work while I was in Lubbock, but now I am in New Orleans, and he is a great guy and does nice work. The one not for sale is his player, and a great looking cue.

John,

Does Paul have any others sitting around? Still getting my money together after the move, and looking to buy a cue after Christmas/New Years. Would like to know what he has in the po' boy range - under $500

Michael

I'm sure he has something nice laying around in that range. I can find out, or you can call him....He always seems to have something, and if not, he always has something in the works....

These are the type of cues that really appeal to me, unfortunately I'm selling not buying. I have more cues coming and nothings moving well. Not many cuemakers do their own full splice blanks either. Must be a talented man. I'd love to hit a few balls with them. Does he attend DCC or Valley forge ? He should...Tom

Um....I'm not sure. He is starting to travel more and more to different events.... He definitely travels to many throughout Texas, but I'm not sure where else he travels.

Who is it that made these cues? The description doesn't mention a specific name... Paul who? Thanks

I think his name is Paul Summerall. Looks like he makes a nice cue....full splice, even. Impressive work from a relative unknown, for sure.

I talked with Paul this morning. He will negotiate on prices. Bring some offers and I'll see what we can do on them.

If you live in the Dallas area and are interested in these cues, let me know. I can always have Paul send some cues to me so that you can try them. I have one of his short spliced cues also if anyone wants to try out some of his cues!!

Thanks!! It's a beautiful cue. I like the veneers on the titlist copy personally, but I'm not in the market for it....I've played with it though, and it was a great hitting cue!

The second one has that one ivory lightning bolt which is cool, especially with the flame veneers!

Tuesday bump! In reference to a question yesterday, all points are the same width at the base of the points.

Paul is a friend of mine we play same APA league night. He does indeed make his own full splice cues. The work he does is excellent. I will tell you up front he is extremely picky about everything when it comes to his cue building. He does NOT take short cuts. He is a perfectionist. I would not hesitate to buy any of his cues. I have visited his shop a few times and have sen him work so I can personally attest to how much care he takes building his cues.
