I have a 2007 Varney jump/break for sale.i had to try one of these out after everyone hyped them and some even said it breaks better than BK2 and jumps better than the X-Breaker.the one i have is 18.75oz. and the shaft is very stiff and 13mm.it has a phenolic tip/ferrule combo with circular grooves cut in it for grip.i was very happy with the way it breaks, but unimpressed with the jumping ability.it jumps just like any of the phenolic jumpers out there.the jump handle is slightly longer for accuracy.it is a little light for me as i like 19.5oz and it can't outbreak my BK2,it is close though and does outbreak the X-Breaker.my X-Breaker 2nd gen is the best jumper i have ever tired and still is.anyway enough with the reveiw, this cue is for sale for $300 shipped and it is in excellent condition.as sson as i can find some X-breaker tips i can get a Varney j/b but for now i will stick with carrying all of these sticks around.

where are all the Varney loyalists.this cue is a 2007,like new and much cheaper than a new one.

Its also in great shape, and looks great. For me it jumped better than it broke, the opposite of your review of this cue. Someone is going to find it perfect for both aspects of the game and be ecstatic to have it.

Well lets see here...you say you were "unimpressed with the jumping ability" and you also said "it can't outbreak" your BK2. No wonder it hasn't been snatched up by a "loyalist".;)
Seriously...I can take this very cue & jump an entire object ball from less than 1" away. I wonder why you are having problems?

Just wanted to say i have had a Varney Break/Jump and was very pleased with the performance . I thought it broke the balls better than the BK2 and i had no problem jumping with it . Good luck with your sale sir. :)

People have different taste thats all. I honestly dont think there is a one cue that "fits all" out there.

I have owned many many break cues, jump cues, break/jump cues. By far. This is the best breaking cue I've ever owned.

i,like many others think the Predator is one of the best break cues ever made.i am sorry i hurt your feelings Varney, but being rude to and insulting your customers is probably not the bets way to handle your injured pride.i stated my opinion of the cue honestly and hoped to sell it to one of the Varney Zombies.the guys who come on here and say "they are the best breakers, best jumpers ever period,no contest.i am having problems jumping b/c the handle is long and it doesn't jump as good as my X-Breaker.i jump fine,i just don't like your jump cue.maybe someone else here will like it though.if you can jump balls in 1" away all day with this cue ,maybe you should buy it back.guys there is nothing wrong with the cue,it is in excellent condition.no pictures, sorry.it looks like his other j/b cues.

i don't have a camera, butit is the typical Varney j/b with straight grain Maple and some darker Rosewood for the butt.

bump for what many call the best j/b in the world.why is no one jumping all over this?i read all of the testimonials about how Varney's are the best and the greatest, yet no one will spend $300 on it.if i was one of the Varney loyalists,i would buy it at $300 just to have a back up,since they are the greatest in the world.

I guess you can call me a Varney loyalist I own several. I can't speak for all Varney fans but with your attitiude I for one would rather pay full price to Kevin before giving you $2 for yours. I'm pretty sure other so called loyalist feel the same.

now i have a bad attitude b/c i don't like the cue?i guess you really are a Varney loyalist.i posted a short reveiw and that the cue is for sale and Kevin comes in saying i must not be able to jump, insulting my pool game.how do you figure i am the one with the bad attitude.i guess i do have a bad attitude after Varney came in here and insulted me.
