I have several Westinghouse Micarta ferrules purchased from Perry
(Knifemaker) a year or so ago. To be clear these are the creamy colored old stock paper based Micarta ferrule blanks that turn yellow. Price is $25 each whether you purchase 1 or 10. Free shipping on 2 or more in CONUSA. Verified PayPal is okay. Photo below posted by Bama Joe. Thanks.

Personally, I hope no one buys them Martin, when I finally catch up, I'll buy everyone of them that knifemaker offered to you and everyone else on here that has them. (NOT JOKING EITHER)
BTW, I have a miter blade from Brianna, actually, I have 4 of them, two I'm keeping, two I'm selling. Let me know if you want to play.

Confused. I thought it was cleared up that knifemakers stuff was NOT Westinghouse material. Help...

It IS Westinghouse material, just not the asbestos based material. Westinghouse made several variations of the micarta for different purposes. This one was the paper based micarta, not the asbestos based. It is really good stuff. Here are pix of the blocks that he cut from along with the package label.

I have a couple shafts with this material and feel it's just awesome. Now I am not sure how people feel about the ferrule actually affecting the way a shaft plays but I certainly feel it contributes to what I like and I notice the difference in this material.

I ship international first class on these for overseas customers. It is an extra $2 per order--no matter how many you buy, I'll cover the rest. There is no tracking however and I will only ship internationally at your risk. Having said that, I've not had a lost package in wel over 1000 packages shipped in the last 7 years. Thanks, Martin
