Maybe you know that John Brumback, winner of two consecutive DCC bank tournaments and the 2009 Master of the Table at DCC now plays with a Lomax cue. John told me at the DCC that his Lomax cue is the best cue he's played with.

So do many other players like Stevie Moore and Larry Nevel. This cue hits great, not used to the squirt/masse it produces though.

very nice cue. I heard about these special tar cues but this is the first Ive seen.
2 things.

Whats the weight of the cue?
What does the joint collar look like?

Thanks,
suge

Yeah I guess I left a few things out huh? lol. The weight of the cue is at 19oz's and I'm not sure what you are asking about when you say what does the joint collar look like.

If you want a picture of it at a different angle or a picture of the pin or whatever let me know i'll take some more.

nah man its all good. sorry. I was just looking at your 3rd picture down, and I couldnt tell if the joint collar on the cue was a white ivory color or a dark brown phenolic?
By the price Id assume 1 shaft as well?

thanks

Dean,
can you give me a call when you are free?
I have a friend looking to buy your cue, but he's not on AZ.
Thanks,

I have a Wrapless Steve Lomax for sale. This cue is brand new, only hit with a couple times. I picked this cue up at the Derby City Classic at the TAR booth.

I honestly couldn't go by the TAR booth without looking at this gorgeous cue. I'm not a cue collector and I will probably never play with this cue because I'm very happy with my other cue at the moment.

I got the shaft turned down to about a 314 2 size (12.75mm) from Steve himself at the Derby. The tip on the cue is a triangle, weight of cue is 19oz. The cue is full of Cocobolo and Curly maple wrap.

Asking $600US. I'm in Toronto, Canada.

Saw the cue at the Derby (both before and after Gatz bought it :p ), and it is GORGEOUS!! 6 bills on this cue is a STEAL!! If I hadn't just ordered the new Jacoby Edge hybrid shaft for my player (and bought the OB Break Cue from Justin - TAR), I woulda grabbed this Lomax!!

Yeah it's dark brown phenolic. Steve does this a lot in his cues it looks pretty sweet. Yes 1 shaft only.

i have played with a number of steves cues, ALL of them are good players-they have a Szam kinda feel to them or Tad. Thats the best compairison.

Lomax

LOVE those woods Steve chose! Both have some incredible figuring to them.
