Nice looking cue... what is the weight on it and tip diameter? ~Thanks.

19.5 and the tip is just a little more than a dime shape
make a reasonable offer and i'll discuss it with corey

I saw the ebay auction. I noticed it had a buy now price of a new one, is it offered at something lower considering the flaws in the finish

the $350 buy it now is to cover the cost the cue, ebay fees, the signature if your a cue collector and shipping. like i said in my other response just make a reasonable offer and i'll discuss it with corey. i know personally that he'll take $310 and eat the shipping cost if no one bids ebay just send the paypal to cyberzane@yahoo.com

thanks for asking

So what is wrong with the cue ? And who made it ..???? And y so much ...Is it better then any other b/j cue out ? And how does it hold the rock..???

theres nothing wrong with the cue its just that corey doesn't need it since he has his own cue line. this cue was a gift from jennifer chen in taiwan at the WPC. the cue controls the rock just as if u had a normal tip on it, and jumps better than a sledgehammer.

on a side note if this cue is not sold on ebay or azb i'll be with corey at the us open so if anyone wants to see this cue just call me if your there, and i'll be glad to show it to you.

unfortunatly 200 is not enough. just as nipponbilliards said they retail for 350 plus shipping. so in all honesty 310 w/ shipping is a great deal

Here's a coupon for 15% off at beadsandbilliards:

"fallscoming"

That would make an X-Breaker only $255 brand new.

Good job Shinobi!

This cue really does not look any different from my Colt. I am rather disappointed in the quality that I have seen with this cue for the money.

Dear Shorty,

Thank you for your comment. Since you bought up the quality or our cue (X Breaker) and the comparison of it with the Colt cue, let me try to answer your question here.

The X Breaker also features the Orange Stain on the Flaming Birdseye model and may be that is why you think it looks like the Colt cue?

Please allow me to bring your attention to the differences.

The X Breaker features the Xtreme Tip, which is very different from any other phenolic tips. The Xtreme tip is not a phenolic tip. Please refer to the data chart here.

The Colt cue features a regular Bunjee tip. Unlike a regular linen/canvas phenolic tip, the patented Xtreme tip is not going to come off, crack, chip, and is holding chalk much better than anything we have tried. Not to mention that it is more powerful and offers better control.

Colt cue uses a flat faced tip glued onto the ferrule, please read the FAQ to learn how the Xtreme tip is attached to the ferrule on a X Breaker, the process is much more complex.

Moreover, unlike a flat faced joint, the X Breaker features a piloted joint with a wooden sleeve for a much tighter and lighter joint. I dare to say the joint on a X Breaker is one of the tightest you will find on a jump break cue.

When I built the X Breaker, I tried the Colt cues, and we have made a lot of improvements accordingly. A lot of players, pro and amateurs alike, have tried our cues and have been very pleased with the differences. Here are some videos for your reference.

Most importantly, we are making sure that the X Breaker is a cue built to last so we use the best finish and wood for our cues. For example, we only use the best A grade Canadian rock maple for our shafts.

I wish you had the chance to hold the X Breaker in your hand and try it. I am sure someone with as much experience on cues as yourself can tell the difference right away.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me.

Thank you very much.

Richard

And now back to our regularly scheduled film already in progress...

But seriously...why not buy an ad here with Mike if you are trying to pimp these things so hard? You are a business and you can write it off as advertising dollars.

Forgive me, but my Colt tip holds chalk just fine, and it is simple to change if I don't like it...yours does not sound so easy to change out.

Furthermore, I am more than willing to buy a cue for 120-130 bucks, and if I don't like I can more than likely get my money back out of it...even if not, I am not out that much money. Your cue at over 300 is quite an investment to be buying blind. Also, from what this thread is showing me, you are not going to get back anywhere near the 300+ you will invest in this cue if you don't like it for whatever reason. He has been pimping this cue for going on two or three weeks now. Even with a picture of Corey's face autographed...uhrur...maybe that's why he can't sell it? HA HA j/k

Now if you truly want to step up to the plate here, I would be more than happy to have you send me a demo one to do a side by side comparison with my Colt, and I will send it back gladly paying whatever shipping charges you want...and I will even post a comparison here for everyone to observe. I will test it's breaking as well as jumping capabilities and observe it's quality first hand. Breaking balls is about more than smacking them hard.

It's up to you,
Shorty

I would like to see several unbiased reviews of the X-Breaker as well. I'm not the type that likes to spend $300 without any guarantees, and since one cannot return a used pool cue, the only thing you can go on is word of mouth.

When I was thinking of buying a Sledgehammer J/B cue, I did some searching and came up with numerous posts about the Sledgehammer, posts comparing Sledgehammer to Predator BK, Fury J/B, you name it... Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough but I haven't stumbled across lots of reviews for the X-Breaker.

By the way, I used to have a Bunjee, and the tip fell off a couple times. That was a pivotal reason for going with the Sledgehammer. No tip to fall off!

Did anyone from these forums buy one and can offer a review?

I've been using a sledge for a while now and although it jumps great and breaks ok, I hate the sound the tip makes upon contact (sounds/feels like breaking with the top of an old school glass coke bottle. The x-breaker sounds good as far as the tip goes (having more control on the breakshot) but having never seen 1 in person nor hearing any unbiased reviews, I am hesitent to dole out the $350.00 the xtreme site charges + $35.00 shipping??? That seems high as well. Even with the b&b deal your still at almost 3 bills w/ shipping. Guess I'll wait til I hear some opinions.

Dear Chad,

Now, this section is meant for advertising something that someone has for sale. And my post was not unsolicitated; it was posted in response to your claim that the cue "was too expensive' and that you could not "see any differences" and that you were "disappointed." When you make such claims and statement about a cue and you call any response from the cuemaker "pimping" you are not being fair.

You do not have to defend your purchase, if you like yours, I am happy for you.

I am not interested to build a cue which is "just fine," I want my customers to have the best jump break cue. Some people are happy with "just fine" but I am not. ;)

I did not offer any Corey's face autographed, you must have had me confused with someone else. :D

If the X Breaker is beyond your budget or if you are more comfortable with waiting, you should.

There is no need for you to explain to me why you are not buying the X Breaker. ;) And there is no need for you to attack me or the X Breaker either.

Believe me or not, I have had a lot of Azers asking me to send them a cue so they will write me a review. ;)

I am sold out right now. Besides, it is not our policy to give our cues out to amateur players. I am very sorry. Thank you for the offer.

If a review is so important, I will try to see if any professional player would be willing to write a review of the X Breaker.

Pimping

Sorry that poeple actually to you like that. I'm shocked that you miss an opportunity to send every Huckleberry out there a cue to beat up and then return it, like they could actually put it through the paces and give it an true evaluation.
I"m not sure if you are selling cues or women??
