I was able to put together a full splice cue with my blank in about a month after I got Chris Hightower Deluxe cuesmith....sold my first cue for $300.00. If you want to dabble in cuemaking...really gotta get the right equipment...make the learning cure a lot easier especially with the information that's available on AZ.

Hi Mike,

Sorry for the delay in my response, these are 29 inch plus and the diameter at the tip in .96 plus and the butt end is 1.29 plus. So you'll have plenty of room to work with to re-center them perfectly.

These are great investment in term of ROI. I've personally have made and sold cues made from these blank with one shaft for $300 to $400 each. My next one, I'm hoping to get $450 to $500. Better builder are commanding anywhere from $500.00 for a plain conversion to $2000 plus for a high end piece. We have individual who are not builder that have invested in the blanks for their builders and have made decent money. I'm a newby builder...so if I'm investing only $850...I just need to make and sell 3 cues to cover my cost of material and the rest is just profit.

Ok...we are not down to 2 complete set as some of the SRC models were sold today.

Just some ideas: These complete full splice sets are great to build for league team members or billiard room owner as rental cues.

Now that what I call a classic cue!!! Nice work Joe!! The cue came out beautiful!! Should post this cue in the Gallery so that other can enjoy it!! Really like the ivory inlay on the short pts.

Here another one of my blank done by Carolina Cue: This is our best seller ( only 2 blanks left) and it easy to see why....James White made a warpless cue with this blank and it was stunning. The model was sold out in just 5 months but we found 8 more of them in another box and just recently sold six of them.

Bump for the last complete full splice set!!! If this set is purchased before December,2007. I will include 5 Molavia Tips of your choice. So that basically mean you will be getting a set of 11 full splice for only $800.00. FOLKS that only $72.00 a blanks!! Purchase individually, you are looking at $1100.00. $300.00 saving on this last set.

Cue builders...start asking billiard halls if they want a custom cues set for their establishment to rent out or ask a league team if they want a custom team set!! Have a good holiday everyone!!!

is the butt wood all the same type?is it East Indian?a guy at the local pool hall gave Alex Brick one to convert last week.
 
The butt wood is all the same, they are South American Rosewood (not east indian). I was told is one of the most stable wood out there (same wood that predator used for their butt). We hope to have purpleheart, cocobola,tulip and bocote next year. Ebony is still questionable at this point.
