AA played the hand well...he obviously bet enough to thin the herd...

So after the flop...he's made trips...A, 9, Q, off-suit is non-threatening...so he doesn't bet
enough to scare KJ away....he wants action.
The turn gives KJ a straight...so now the roles are reversed...KJ doesn't want to scare
AA away...AA is aware of the gunshot straight possibility...so he's not going to send it all.
The river seems perfect for them both....AA has to lose his money.
