I've heard llamas are supposed to be great to have with sheep and goats for the same reason. They protect the herd. They have canine teeth and between that and their split hooves they could really put the hurt to dogs or coyotes.

I've also heard that about llamas , then I've heard of a few that our wolves were killing the llamas and the sheep . Trappers with modern equipment still are successfully getting it done .

The sea monster uses a person's most desired "thing" as bait.
1st guy wanted treasure. Greed got him killed.
2nd guy wanted the girl. Lust got him killed.
Grandma wanted the love of her family...so that was the bait that got her ate.
