That stuff is often a killer in pool, I have won a set I clearly remember, the other guy was on the hill in 8 ball, the 8 was in the jaws (where I left it after a miss), he goes to fire it in at speed, and draws the cueball to the other corner for the scratch. My game win, I win the next game to win the set. Thanks.

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. And the funny thing is that my opponent is known as a soft-hitter; everything is at pocket speed, except he really uncorked on that 8-ball and drew it into the opposite corner pocket!

It was everything I could do to keep from laughing.

Rocker Rob Zombie lodges complaint about noise from skate park in Conn. hometown

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- The noise from a new skate park in Connecticut is too much for rocker Rob Zombie.

He and his wife have complained to the Litchfield County town of Woodbury that the park, which opened near their home in April, makes such a racket that it should be moved.
