WASHINGTON—Painting a stark portrait of a phenomenon that appears to be irreversible, a report published Thursday by the American Historical Association has found that the past is currently expanding at an alarming rate.

The comprehensive 950-page study, compiled by a panel of the nation’s most prominent historians, warns that the sum total of past time grows progressively larger each day, making it unlikely anything can be done to halt, or even slow down, the relentless trend.

“We believe the past is larger now than it’s ever been before,” said College of William and Mary professor Timothy Gibbon, lead author of the report, observing that whole generations of people have already become a part of history, and that if nothing changes, an untold number more can expect the same fate. “Many things that are in the past today were, during our parents’ and grandparents’ time, still in the present—or even the future. Based on precise measurements of its size, we believe the past has subsumed every single person and event that has ever existed.”

Very interesting Topic. It is something that I have thought about in the Past. I may think about this in the Future also.

But, have they actually figured out a way, for example, to know how much Past we will have 5 years from now into the Future.

We are voracious Consumers in North America. The more Future that we consume, the more Past we will create. Just like a Land Fill. We may run out of room for the Past. Like, if you dream about what you are going to do in the Summer of 2017, you are already creating a Past, or Sub Past, before the date in the Future that would normally
have to be waited for in order to have Created it.

Likely Quantum Physics and such. Way beyond myself.

Ah, watch for 5 legged horses. They tend to be faster than the ones with 4 legs.

Last Summer fishing up North, I came across a Creek. Was a sign at the bridge saying that it was called. Jay Jay Creek.

Someone took a marker and put a VA before the Jay Jay. I got a pic of it, will have to find it later.

I stopped the truck to take a picture. Some nice young fellow stopped to see if I was in trouble and needed a hand. I said, no, just taking a picture.

He saw the sign and had a laugh. He said, "You know how many times that I cross this bridge every week and had never noticed.
