Funny pic/gif thread...

I had my keys stolen once. My thought was that a coworker that knew of my guns in the car had stolen the keys.

This made me afraid to leave the car out of sight, so I paid the price to have a locksmith come to me.

I watched him take a key blank and insert into the door and wiggle back and forth a few times. He then took the key and looked at marks left and filed there. He repeated this several times until the key turned the lock and opened.

Same key then worked in the ignition.

Was an eye opening experience for me.

BTW< keys showed back up a few days later...which only seemed to support my theory.

Dunno if this relates or not, but it reminded me of a Portland, OR TV news story some years ago. In Portland, car theft not a high police priority. So, a guy reported his car stolen. He was a demolition technician...so told the cops he'd left plastic explosives and blasting caps in the car's trunk. After he got his car back in a few hours, he "remembered" that he'd locked the explosives away somewhere else..
