Reminds me of when I was a kid in Gary, Indiana, Jeff.
...got stuck pretty good on a trap 5-10 snooker table...most of my US money.
...so I stopped at a bank next morning to change some Canadian bills...
...they were old pre-1954 King George bills....hundreds..

I not only couldn't change the money...thought they were gonna call the cops...
...told 'em there's no such thing as Canadian Confederate money....
....had to go back to the action with two and a half barrels...:eek:

This might be my favorite Canuck bill...I think it was discontinued because of the jokes...
...we called it 'The Newfy Firing Squad"
 
I have a Canadian $1 bill around here somewhere. From the 60's I think with a pic of a young Queen Elizabeth on the front. They got replaced by the Loonies I guess.
