Years ago when doing a damage control job trapping beaver I found where like in the picture I see a Aspen tree partly chewed through and made a mental note of where it was because we've got a lot of wind here and I didn't want to get a surprise.
Well the next trap check I noticed the tree was down and it was away from the small river maybe 10 - 12' I went to look in the water and here was a young whitetail buck that was pinned down with a ( and I'm just guessing here ) broken back and it drowned .
On the next check I caught the beaver who started all this in motion ha ha
