It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that ping.
I'm not an apple fanboy in any way. PC user, would never own a mac. I switched from android to iphone a couple years back. The reason was that my nephew wanted the latest iphone and sold me his old one (last year's model) cheap. I needed a new phone and it had better specs than anything for the same price ($300). I did have to put a $60 screen/digitizer in it (he included it) which was no big deal. Like building a pc or lego. Use the tools properly and plug the screen back in, reassemble.Apple has come close to going under several times. I could get into the specifics of why but it's not necessary. They've always had Steve jobs come back in and use gimmicky product and good marketing to save them, the three or four times they were about to fail.
The I Mac, the I pod, the I phone and the I pad are the only reason they're still around. That and lazy, imbecillic end users like I already stated.

There's really nothing wrong with iphone. It's built very well/sturdy and it's easy to use. Great cameras and a lot of quality of life type improvements. Coming from android I was cussing it for 2 weeks (I don't use it much each day), kind of like how one would cuss a new pool cue until they get onto it. After 2 weeks I hated using my wife's Samsung.
The iphone OS is dead easy to use, less fiddling around than android. Yeah I might have a harder time running homebrew code on it or something, but who really cares? It's a phone. It will do anything I want it to. If there's something I just have to tweak a lot like video editing, I can load it onto my PC, the exact same way you would with android.
Apple fanboys are a thing, but so are anti-apple fanboys. Use what you use and get on with it. I do agree that iphones are ridiculously overpriced, but they are priced about the same as a phone with similar specs.
