I've done that a time or two year's ago , things like this is what got me started learning how to replace my own tips on my pool cue and pay more attention on where and how I hit the cue ball .
That is my 3c cue and the pro guy there is constantly telling me I'm not hitting far enough out from center.

In my case it was tips that were hard even more so than the old Le Pro tips , I've got a partial box of le pro tips somewhere I need to bring back to the surface again ha ha !
