There's a breed of livestock from I believe Africa called Ankole that they may of cross bred a long horn with to get the diameter and length of horns .
Some friends of mine had roping steers for awhile it worked out very well for me as they were bored they could take their blunt horn tip and rub the screwdriver slot on the lid of a stock waterer then destroy the float valve , then I'd be called out to replace it ha ha
The steer that did this the most got butchered and turned into hamburger !
