I guess the bigger question is:

Is there any 'god' that you would actually want to be friends with?

The ones who shape shifted to rape women?

The ones who were jealous of skilled or beautiful mortals?

The ones who demanded blood sacrifices?

The one who banished his favorite angel to hell and kicked his first people out of paradise for gaining knowledge?

How about the one who created a system of life (other than most plants) that requires by killing and consuming other living forms for continued life?
