I'm visiting my Philadelphia work site for a few days and made it into Fusco's 'The Spot' today! Enjoyed every minute I was there. Clean and quiet, tons of pool memorabilia around!

Haven't been to Fusco's in couple of years. Always enjoyed the tables there.
All Gold Crowns. They have one of the few 3C tables in the area.
They have maybe 8 or 9 Diamond bar tables now and one tight 9' Diamond as their feature table. I didn't notice a 3C table, but I didn't really look for one.

When are (all of) you going to move on from the sloppy mess of all those balls and to a far better game?

Some of us tried, but the game died in the US for all practical purposes. Probably by 1950. I know there are signs of life, but I’m not at all sure it will become widespread. Had a table in my house for a while. No public tables in my state as far as I know. Even one of the Elks Clubs I played a couple tournaments at in a neighboring state got rid of their tables. Trying to sell a table will tell you how many people are interested and have room for one. So the last time I played billiards was last fall when I had a couple hours to kill in Chicago. There just aren’t the playing opportunities in billiards in the US.

Looking at the USA tournament results shows how far the game has dropped off the radar in the USA.

Sad.

Nice!

I’m probably going to Markley Billiards in Norristown tonight if you’d like to meet up. It’s about 45 min from Fusco’s.

Also Bluegrass Billiards is in the area.

Those 3 rooms are the last player’s rooms in the greater Philadelphia area.

I would have loved that. I'm in the airport now getting ready to head back to the desert. :(
