I just wanted to let everyone know of a member that I had a problem with in the past. He has now joined the az community. He goes by the name Moskovitz and has had a past history of not paying for items purchased. I will inform you all that I have not had any dealings with him here on az, but have dealt with him on ebay. There are also other complaints on his ebay account for not paying and he is no longer a registered user there. If you want to check his ebay name was nnwscs. I could not stand to see a fellow azer have a problem if I could have helped avoid it. Take care!

Interestingly enough, this guy contacted me just today about a Cantando cue I listed just a couple of days ago. We spoke on the phone for about three-quarters of an hour. Thanks for the tip.

Dear Phil.

I sincerely apologize for not completing the auction of your that I bid on, regardless of the circumstances. I was 100% wrong. I hope you will accept this apology.

As far as AZ goes I have done 2 deals 1 with Koinkid for a case and the other with Straight Pool for a Black Boar A-8. I will anwser any and all questions.

If you had such sterling deals with these two AZer's, you would have 2 trader points and I don't see them. KOINNKID always leaves good rep when his deal goes well. So 'splain yoself' Mr. Moskovitz so all of us in this very LARGE family can 'unnerstand'.

Good question...I think is popcorn and soda ready for tonight...:)

fbass4u DID ALAN PAY YOU FOR THE AUCTION?

DID YOU REFUND HIS MONEY?

SEEMS A BIT ODD THAT YOU REFUNDED HIM IF HE DIDN'T PAY YOU. I'M SURE HE PAID, OR HE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LEAVE YOU NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT I AM A PERFECT JUDGE OF PEOPLE, BUT I HAVE SPOKEN WITH ALAN SEVERAL TIMES, AND WE'VE DONE A FEW DEALS. I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH HIM.

I'M JUST LOOKING FOR CLARIFICATION OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN YOUR DEAL.

I would also like some clarification of this matter. My deal went fine on the case that I sold him. I have also talked to him on the phone several times with no issues. There is always 2 sides to every story.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but maybe some sellers, like on eBay, just don't leave a feedback for a good transaction. I know on eBay it has almost gotten to the point where the seller is waiting on what I leave as feedback, when I feel I should be left positive feedback as soon as they are paid.

I have done three transactions here on AZ, and as soon as I received two of my items I left a positive feedback. For whatever reason, I never did receive any iTrader comments from one seller; maybe they are busy.

Being a fairly new poster, but a long time lurker on various pool boards since around 1996, I need all the iTrader feedbacks I can get to establish some sort of trust.

Ebay is changing their policy on this pretty soon. Sellers aren't going to be able to even leave negative feedback for buyers starting in May.

While this is good and bad, I understand where it came from. Last year I made a purchase in excess of $10k. The buyer had a $1k deposit in less than 15 mins. He had his check in less than 5 days. He still held my feedback until after I left him positive feedback. People like that make me not even want to use ebay anymore.

I have to say that I also have been in contact with Alan and feel like he is a very nice guy to deal a cue to, no games just fair trade.--Leonard

Marcus, I believe when the bid closes you have the option to leave your feedback at that time. As far as your dealing with him being good, then thats great for you and koinnkid, but there have been others that were not that lucky. I simply pointed out past problems as far as no payment or late payment. Either way I should not have had to be out of money because of a winning bidder. If you buy something then you should have the money to pay for it, or make arrangments with whomever your buying from before the deal is sealed, thats the way I see it. So by all means if you feel the need to do business with him or anybody else that has had a past history of shabby business then do it. Dont make me feel like I did wrong because I decided to tell others of my experience with moskovitz, because your deal went good. Just be glad and fortunate that it did.If you talk to him in the future? ask him if cuester or ac227 ever got there money? So I will leave it this way, BE YOUR OWN JUDGE! and thats it.

Fyi

Phil - Just be honest you want to black Ball me on AZ
Thanks Marcus, Troy & Leonard

No Alan, I'm not trying to have you black balled here on Az. I just thought it was kind of funny how you just joined the board, then try to warn us here on Az about suspect people on ebay, when in fact you need to include yourself as well. You are no longer a registered user on ebay are You? but I'm sure you will state that it was your choice, right. Also what about user ac227? and cuester? did they ever get paid? I only got paid after I had to file a dispute of guess what? No Payment. Then I promptly refunded your money. So all I did is just let the cat out the bag, or was that spacecat? So if you feel scorned? Sorry, but I had to let others members know of the possibility of a problem, and thats what I stated in my original post! a possible problem.

I hear you. When I did Ebay, as a seller I left feedback as soon as I got paid. The feedback was almost always, "great buyer, fast payment". I never waited for or cared about or asked a buyer about feedback.
