I installed my first G-10 pin today. Any suggestions on how to polish or shine it up to look a little more classy?

I use Stewart-McDonald fingerboard stain. It makes a nice black shiny pin.

Almost any auto clear coat polishing compound will shine the pins up. Just spin it in your lathe that apply pressure with with a cloth. Wash rags work good. Paper towels are okay but take longer. Using the lathe in reverse also helps.
