G10 ferrule?

I have a Diviney Lake Salvage shaft on my break cue and it has a black G10 ferrule on it. I have been trying out a Dymonwood shaft on the break cue and was wondering if any of you ever used a G10 ferrule on a playing shaft?

If I can get used to the Dymonwood shaft I am thinking about using the original break shaft for a playing shaft, but I am looking for any one with experience with a G10 ferrule on a playing shaft.

I had a Chris's cues jump brake with a one piece tip ferrule. Advice, don't use it on a friends table. Burns simonis like a birthday candle.

I am some what familiar with G10, just curious how the ferrule with a regular tip played when used as a playing shaft. I may put an Ultra Skin tip on it and bang away for awhile.

I have had one of those for over a decade.

I also have the only cue in the world with 2 g10 pins...i do believe.

The g10 is heavy? I woulda thought it lighter than a natural substance...?

G10 specific gravity is around 1.80/1.85 . same range than ivory.
