Gabe Owen by Troy Downey

This cue was made in 2004 by Troy Downing and is a 60inch cue. it is very fancy for a merry widow, snakewood, and shields of ivory that you can see in the pictures.

It has a Ivory Joint, with a radial pin and comes with 2 shafts both around 12.9mm. It has a Aligator embossed leather wrap, and did i mention it plays very good...

The cues is straight besides a slight taper roll in one of the shafts.

What a great example of a Ebony merry widow.

this should not last long, its a very nice cue at a very reasonable price, love it, good luck man!

If you still have this in a few weeks when the BCA hits, PM me. I'd love to see it in person, very interested, but I always got to see what I buy.

Thanks for the kind words, there aren't many around like this one. I am not sure if it will still be available JJ, I am dropping the price...

Please explain the the stick name. I thought Gabe was Bob's kid, why would someone else make a Gabe Owens cue? Am I ignorant, nuts, or both?

Beautiful stick, very understated.

Gabe was sponsored by Muellers a few years back. With that came an agreement to make a limited run of custom Downey cues with Gabe's name on them. Gabe's also used the cues and did well with them, and even wanted to keep one when the sponsorship ended. These cues are absolutely sweet hitting and beautiful to look at. This one has amboyna, there were a few done with snake wood as well.

Sick cue, someone will be happy with cue and for this price I am surprised it still there.
