I stopped by the Tropicana for parts of the last three days to take photos. You can view them here:

The best way to view these in my opinion, is to go to the gallery and then click on the "slideshow" view option in the upper right corner. It brings you to a full screen slide show. Should take about four minutes to view them all.

Congratulations to Pedro Piedrabuena and the rest of the great players...

I have added captions now Dan. The exercise also made me realize I missed some of the other finalists (I believe the final round was ten), so I will have to look back through to add the missing players.

Also, I don't know this players name -- maybe someone else can help:

This finalist is Vu, a player from Houston. (US Billiards if I am right)

Thanh Vu was the surprise of the tournament, he did very good path from the prelim till the finals, great player and an awesome discipline!
 
it's Khalil Diab, very smart player , he is in mid seventies, he can still play ,wonderful man and such a gentleman .

He is originally from Egypt ,
I met with his brother ( one of top players in the world) like 1999,
and here is the picture of me and his brother ( past away couple of years ago)
