First off, I am not a big time gambler and I don't pretend to be. I have read countless threads about playing for big money. Some people have backers for money and some people claim to play on there own money.
The thing I would like to point out is: if you do use a backer for big money matches and win, well the split is usually 50/50 or maybe somewhere close to 60/40. This depends on arrangements, spending, etc. The player has nothing to lose, except his backer if he or she loses too much.
Anyway, if you have a backer for matches, it's usually because the player has little to no money. After all what world class players have 9-5 jobs? If your backer puts you into a game playing for 10k this week and you win, odds are you will have another match.
My main question: do these big money backers really care if the player finds his or her lil action for say 500-1000? Or would these backers demand their cut if their horse wins any matches at all? Just curious...........
