First, I oppose your choice of thread titles. Second, if we're ever in the same town I'll gamble with you on the "kiddie" tables (and I'm not a gambler). Third, I played in a PRIDE tournament the same weekend this tournament happened and, sadly, because I live in Idaho the turnout was much less than expected.

Good to know there weren’t any shenanigans like what we see at the parades. Pool players are much more civilized than what we get credit for.
As for playing on bar tables. It’s becoming the norm that tournaments are held on these tables. You won’t see many 9 foot tournaments for the general public.

As I said before in this connection, every time I address this subject it is with trepidation for fear of offending. But . . .
This is one of the problems from some perspectives -- folks are not pc enough. Give us a break. Not pointing fingers at anyone, but "gay" is the nicest term many have ever employed. "LGB . . ." is too confusing and changes too often for many. "Pride" or "Proud" might be better, but I see inherent issues. Labels do matter but are far less important than attitudes.
I caught the "kiddie" remark but figured it referenced the tables and hoped it was not a shot at the participants. In my book, Measureman got the benefit of doubt -- a lot of us prefer 9 footers. I hope we argue about table size for a long time, but the rest of it needs to be abandoned and filed under "live and let live".
Rodney King may have said it best, "Can't we all just get along?"
And, maybe the Colorado tourney benefited from the AZB exposure. Next time there is an Idaho event, post here.

some of the most friendly non judge mental places I’ve spent time in are pool rooms and golf courses. Possibly pastors and politicians could conduct themselves in a like matter instead of spewing division, homophobia ad hate disguised as a sermon or speech.

The difference is this - they don't care what you do with your life and let you live your life however you want. Those on the other side are not the same.

why do you care?? writing a book? i get sick of groups, any groups, that single themselves out and force others to go along with their views/beliefs/actions. Do your thing but don't constantly bombard others with your views/opinions or get all butthurt when someone disagrees with you.
When in an interview you're often asked the questions "What is one negative thing about you". My response is, and has been for decades, the same. "Well, I would say I'm not very cliquey. I get along with everyone but if there is a certain person who is either not doing their job and/or causing problems I have zero issue discussing it with them".
