I recently purchased a GCIII that needed a complete refinish. The skirts were trashed. I used a palm sander & 100 grit discs to bring it to bare wood. I then used minwax red mahogany stain & then 2 coats of semi-gloss minwax polyurethane. PM me with your email if you want any before & after pics or let me know if you have any other questions.

As you can tell she helped daddy put the washers on the bolts to bolt up the frame. No she can't reach, but, nobody puts the rack on the table & puts the balls faster on the table than she does. She watches & waits until the 8 ball drops & promptly retrieves the rack & balls
I need to teach my little girl that! She's almost 8 and I'm just starting now to get her to work on trying. She can put in a few balls from time to time. Got her one of the Drake Bell kids cues from Robin Dodson for Xmas. She also loves to roll the balls on the table to play with angles trying to guess where they will end up. I'm lucky that she is one of the tallest kids in her class, so she can somewhat make a bridge and play. You can see her trying here http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=214847
