GC nameplate question

Will the name plate for Gold Crowns always be the design where there is a 'crown' shown inside the upper loop of the 'B' for Brunswick?

Or can the nameplate have the 'Since 1845' inside a rectangle within the nameplate?

Can it be either or both depending on model and year? Or is the latter a replacement name plate for an earlier original 'Crown' name plate?

Thanks

(I tried to search this but didn't find it discussed)

If the size fits...wear it so to speak, meaning...it don't really matter:smile:

I like the look of the since 1845 one, I have no idea what year or model it's from but it is original.
This looks like a custom black laquer painted 1 or 2 to me.

That is a black finish from Brunswick on that GC3. I think it is called the High Tech Finish. It was

Cool I didn't know they ever made one like that, good to know. Sure is nice, too bad they're not more common. I'd love to have one with that look.
