When is he going to be in KC ?

When is he going to be in KC ?

Don't know Mark.

He said he was staying in Tunica until after the 9 ball and then heading up this way.

Maybe the best thing to do is give him a call.

He is in a great deal of pain and stated that he cant really play well right now.

Have fun

Wait a minute ! That's my line !

9 ball in starts on Wed..............

I hope I can go deep.

I have a little action set up but i don't know if i will be able to take it off. Neck is pretty sore and it's hard to sleep right.

Not practicing much. Just have to see what happens.

Doing about a lesson a day while here. That was the main reason i came to Tunica.

The playing is just fun and a bonus.

I'll post on here the day I leave. I have the motel room here until Monday morning but probably won't have a reason to stay that long.

St Louis is a great town with allot of players.

Looking forward to working with you John. Your number one on the list.

Thanks again.....

Hey Gene,

See you this weekend at Cue and Cushion.

If anyone else can make it ......see you there.

I'll update the specific day and time when I hear from Gene

Take care of yourself, get healed, then give 'em hell.

John :)

I play at 11:30 thurday....

That's only my second match so i don't know how soon I'll be out of here.

I'm trying to do a few lessons with some players here before I go.

Just have to see how it pans out but this tourny might run into Sat if I can hang in there and go deep.

But I will be coming to St Louis..............

I have a question that's slightly off topic but concerns St. Louis pool (as that's where I'm located). Is there any organized playing of Snooker at Cue and Cushion, or do people just go up and play here and there? Same question regarding straight pool.

Thanks

I'm still in the 9 ball at Tunica, I play sat at 11:30

I'm on the losers side but still rolling.

Played some 9 ball with Ike R tonight to get in stroke a little.

It feels pretty good.

Now i need to get some sleep.

The bad news is I will not be to St Louis until the smoke clears in Tunica.

I got a bunch of money tied up in a 10 ahead match. I just got half the action. Need to see how that plays out.

Sorry I'm not going to be there maybe till Monday. Not sure.

But the good news is I am coming...........

What a great tournament this has been for everyone.

What these guys have done here is just fantastic.

Diamond Tables is the only way to go. They will last longer and the value stays up there real good. Like an investment.

Everyone should support Greg Sullivan and Mark Griffin jsut for what they're doing for the game..........

Exhausted .........

I finished the 9 ball. The guy I lost to beat Shane his next match.

When I played I was totally exhausted. Sometimes things happen that you just can't help. I got bites all over my feet and legs. I thought it was bed bugs again but it is something else. The last 3 days I couldn't sleep hardly from the itching.

I've had chiggers before but this isn't quite like that either. The itching is still there today but it is allot better and I finally slept a full 8 hours without waking up over and over.

I might have still lost my match yesterday but by not getting enough sleep it gave me no chance. Just one of the things that happens.

I did walk through the grass one time but it was short. I might have gotten Chiggers.

For those that don't know about these little critters, they itch like mesquitoes on steroids.

I'm going to go with chiggers because I know what bed begs are like for sure unfortunately and these bites are not bed bugs.

Today is another day. I have about 5 players to get ahold of today for lessons. The players were too busy playing yesterday with their teams to spare the time for the lesson.

Today will be different. I need to get down there and teach like a maniac until i drop. Need to help as many players as possible.

Then tomorrow at noon it is off to St Louis and Cue and Cushion unless I have lessons to do tomorrow. Otherwise I will leave at noon on Monday.. One Pocket John and myself have a long awaited lesson. John Has been real patient with me getting to St louis. I can't wait to show him that his persistence was well worth it.

Last night I was so exhausted i didn't think I was going to make it to the room. After 8 hours of sleep i have numerous aches and pain but i can't wait to get going.

Today is another day. I feel so lucky to have a job like teaching pool where I can't wait to get up and get going each and everyday no matter how i feel.

I feel like a kid in a candy store. In Tunica. Got to play in one of the greatest and exciting pool tournaments in the country and now i am going to walk into the NAPA tournaments today and teach about 3 or 4 of them my Perfect aim. Wish I could work with more but I'm only one guy.

My hats off to the Drill Sargent. This guy works his but off and does a great job.

Good with the players and provides allot of entertainment for the players and he's helping so many with his teaching.

Got to get going and see what I can do.

Up up and away...............

Thanks for the update Gene.

So, I guess Monday it is. Give me a call Monday as to the time you want to meet. The Cue opens at 11 am.

Did about 30 mini lessons today..............

Did one full lesson but did about 30 mini lessons.

I do the mini lessons to show the players a little sample of how well this works.

It's an eye opener for sure.

Many of the players are broke and allot of them are leaving in the morning so they couldn't do a lesson.

Got 3 lessons set up for tomorrow . It's going to be a busy day. First one is at 12:00.

After a good nights sleep tomorrow night I will be heading to St Louis.

See ya all then............

I gave 9 people in Tunica some pre mini lessons and they can't wait for their full mini lesson.

Thanks

We have a 10 foot Brunswick Snooker table. No organized snooker. Just friends coming in together etc. About half the time the table is Snooker, other half just people using it for tight pocket practice or nine ball.

Gene is now in St. Louis. I was lucky enough to still be hanging out at C&C when he came in late last night. I'm glad I stuck around after league, as he answered some excellent questions I had about his Perfect Aim dvd. You can read about my experience with him in the link in my signature if you're at all curious.

I'll say this to summarize: The DVD will only get you so close, but you really need that interaction with him to fine-tune the info for you. I'm finally happy I forked over the $80 for the disc! :)

Nice post and nice blog. I had the same experience when he was up here in Northern Illinois.
