This is a charity pool tournament hosted by the Shaun Livingston Foundation, which is dedicated to providing recreational opportunities for inner city children. It is scheduled for Sept. 18 at Yankee Doodles in Santa Monica, California. For more information on how to play and participate, please go to their website at getacuechallenge.org.

I will be directing this event for them. I am looking for donations of inexpensive cues and cases that will be awarded to the winning teams. Anything will be greatly appreciated. All donations (and donors) will be listed on the website and at the event.
I can be reached at jayhelfert@yahoo.com

This promises to be a high profile event with many athletes and celebs playing. There will be media coverage as well. Another AZ member will be posting the flyer on this thread later today. Thank you in advance for your help.

sounds like a great event. Where can we send the donations too.

You can send them to me and I will see they are acknowledged and awarded at the event.

You're the greatest Mike. A few cues (and cases) will be awarded as prizes in the charity event. They are trying to raise six figures to help the kids, and upgrade their facilities.

If you can make it (or your rep) they will be our guest. If you have a banner, I will make sure it is hung at the venue. We will take photos of the winners and their cues.

This event should attract an upscale crowd. Maybe you would like to attend. Let me know.
