Ginacue for sale

Thank You Mitchell for posting the catalogue. Randy

My pleasure. ;)

I haven't seen this catalog in years. Thanks for posting.

The cue that I once owned, and inspired the cue I own own today, is the seventh from the left. I actually owned one of those cues and the alligator case on the left for a couple of years in the late 70's, until I sold the whole thing back ($250) to the guy who sold it to me ($150). (I know, I know.)

Ernie should be just about now (I hope) be completing another cue for me -- a five-pointer, to be my travel cue -- so the eight-pointer can stay safe at home :-)

BTW: does anyone know what the little toothpick-like things are sitting above a couple of the cues?

Lou, I think maybe we are living in parallel universes. I was a kid when I bought my Domino from Ernie back in the early 60's and lusted after the 7th from the left but it was too much money for a snot nosed kid like me. Of course I never regretted the Domino (still have it) but all these years later, being in the position to buy another Gina, I just had to order the 11C that resembled the cue I lusted after all those years ago.

lol, funny about that.

I also always lusted after the version of the eight-pointer with the ebony in the butt sleeve around the windows. Not too long ago someone had one up with snake wood in the butt and points and I almost... well you know :-)

Can't wait for the five-pointer.

Great catalog.....

I really like this catalog picture. I own several of the actual cues in the photo.

The fourth cue from the left was Marvin Henderson's playing cue for decades. A HOFer in 1P. The cue was made with the best Brazilian Rosewood Ernie had ever seen. He told me he could not bring himself to cut the piece and put on a wrap. The cue is unbelievable in person with the long ivory wedges in the bottom, along with long beautiful barbells. A real piece of history.

Years after I bought this cue, I picked up another early cue with the forearm made with another piece of the same Rosewood. Per Ernie. They make quite the pair. I made a very special matching 2x4 case for them.

The eighth cue from the left is one of my favorite Ginacues. In fact, one of my favorite cues period. The handle was made from seven ivory billiard balls, and has a unique signature Ginacue By Ernie. It still has the fancy original cue caps. How do you think I like it perched next to the Silver Ginacue?
