I picked up this cue a while ago was thinking about getting it fixed and refinished. Now considering selling it as is. Suggestions?? Sell as is or have Ernie fix it, then sell it? He said replace butt cap and refinish with new wrap for about 500.00 the small chip on the inlay he said he would have to see it and maybe fill it but wouldn't be able to replace.

Its a 12A with an optional leather wrap. On Ernie's last price list (2007) that cue would have been 2800 + 125. Maybe Ernie's cues are now worth more then they were new in 2007, maybe not. Yours needs work and that chip in the ivory inlay is problematic (if I'm seeing it right). Those can't be replaced as easily as it would seem (or always seems to me).
On second thought, its a 12C with ebony instead of snake wood, so its a little upgrade from a 12A with veneers on the points and kind of bridged points. A 12C was up 400 from a 12A back then, I don't know how the wood swap would have shaken out price-wise.
