GLOVES at the Mosconi Cup

Find the PNS glove that's for sale on eBay. You'll never pay for a Molinari again. Same quality. $10 or less.

I play 7 days a week.. Molinari gloves last me almost a year. I just wash it every couple weeks when it starts to get a little loose. I bought kumui glove at the expo in april and It got holes in it about a month a go and I had to go back to my mollinari. in my opinion they're both really good but for me the mollinari was a little more comfortable and lasted just a bit longer.

I play about 6 days a week on average.
Usually never under 4-5 hours a day, many are 7-8 hrs.
I have really bad experience with Molinari.
PLUS I hate it that they only come in "one size fits all".
With kamui I get the XL and it's very tight.
With Molinari I can get them on but not comfortably and they feel more like compression stockings than a glove.
So tearing it by the velcro is usually how it always starts with me.
Never ever ever torn a Kamui.
I started using Molinari about 4 years ago with Version 1 and have used two gloves since Version 2 came out.
Not good.
Not good at all.

I didn't have any of those problems but I can tell you one thing that changed and your right about ...they are now one size fits all. I checked there web site.. they came in sizes before. I won't be buying another now. I have small hands and I need it to fit right.

Make sure you get extra large.
Their sizes run a little on the small side.
Granted it's gonna stretch a little and should be a bit tight.

I only seen small medium and large at ozone!

Where did you buy the extra large?

Update: Found them at Seybert's but only in the "BLACK" version only!!! Bought a couple pairs as these things tend to be limited runs and once they are gone it gets pretty bad if you know what I mean!

Why were so many of the players wearing gloves this year at the MC?

I think over half of the players had them: Albin, Shaw, Feijen, Skylar & Justin were all wearing them. With the exception of Shaw, I don't think the others typically wear glvoes do they?

Was it unusually humid or hot in the arena?

I'm also watching Thorsten wearing the Kamui glove in the Poison Challenge match right now.

Is it catching on?

(Let's please try to leave all the other MC baggage alone for now too.)

if your sponsor asked you to promote their glove.....would you?

seriously

I just got XL in black from these guys.
They have the blue and red too in XL.
No problem with shipping.
Took about 3-4 days.

Perhaps they were being paid to wear the gloves? If somebody paid them to wear Earl's weights they would probably be wearing weights.

That's completely wrong.
The PNS don't have a rubber pad in the palm, none at all.
As a result they feel very slippery if you're coming off the rail, and actually on the cloth too.
Plus the Velcro was stitched together on BOTH PNS that I got.
No comparison to the Molinari.

That being said for even better quality and by far the most durable palm pad the Kamui have the longest lasting by a long shot.
It feels like suede NOT that rubber junk that just gets worn out in a matter of few months that the Molinari has.

As to the PNS, I can say there is a very definite reason they're only 10 bucks.
I thought I was saving money and got two.
Complete disaster...

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. We have a bunch of guys using these in our pool room, and no one has observed the same problems you have. Sorry to hear you had an issue with them. I've never noticed "slippage" in the palm before. But, then again, I'm not tripodding, and can lift my bridge off the table, as my legs provide my balance.

Just got my shipment in today from Seybert's and I must say these are "MUCH" better quality then when I tried the Sir Joseph gloves over 10 years ago when they first came out.

The fit is good and the mesh on the palm area lets my hands breath. I must say i am glad I made the purchase. I have yet to play with the glove on yet. Will add my 2 cents after I give it a week or two of play.

But, so far so good!!!

Thanks 9Ballr

Yes, they're definitely good quality.
Stitches and all. Plus the pad in the palm never wears out.

I hate to put down a long time supplier but sir joseph are terrible. I was going through one every other month. The stitches were already unraveled from the glove when it came out of the bag.
