I recently got 7 sets of Ridgeback rails to do a pool room we have our league out of and I am using the glue method to do the rails I have got it down to 8 to 10 staples per end and 2 hours and 15 min to cut the Simonis 860 hr and do the rails for 1 table seems long to me my question is for the mechanics that glue these rails how long does it normally take ?

I feel like it should be 6 to 8 minutes a rail but them little things seem so hard to work with to get perfect

Thanks,
Bill

hmmm, only takes me about 30min to spray glue and stable a whole set, 9 staples for corner pockets, and 5 staples for the side pockets;)

Do you have the Simonis DVDs showing how to recover the Ridgeback rails?

no I have not seen it yet just trial and error probably would be a smart purchase we still have more to do

I heard the DVD's were hard to get

Did the 3rd table today and I am starting to get much more efficient bed and rails came out perfect and my last 3 rails took 10 minuets a piece I have been over thinking the corners for sure but better to be safe then sorry

I definitely like the fast bond and spray glue for the rails by the time I get these 10 done I think I will be comfortable ........ but I am still going to get the DVD you can never have to much info

can't wait to tackle the gold crown's with the fast bond I am almost having fun with it now even though I told myself in 07 I would never do any more tables except my own

Thanks to the mechanics that contribute here
