I'd love to see him finally pull it off this year. It would be great to see the old man show these young guns how it's done. He deserves it more than anyone else in my opinion...

It's tough when the years start to add up to have the endurance to make it through a tourney like this, but I always enjoyed Parica's game. He keeps it simple.

Amang Parica

And when everything is said and done, don't forget to say "Who's your daddy?"

Go get it Amang... We're not getting any younger and you really deserve to win this tourney.

If he wins it this year, I think he will be the oldest Champ of the US Open. I believe Lebron is the current title holder having won it when he was 54, Jose is 59 I think...

Don't hold me to this info but I believe it is accurate, someone please speak up if I am incorrect.

I was watching the match when Shane missed the relatively routine 8ball at hill hill vs. Parica last night. It was brutal!

Get em Jose

Yes he's 59 and still biting! Go get 'em Amang!

When I saw this thread, my first thought was, "I hope he finally wins the Open." He's still a great player, despite his age. Good luck Jose

I smiled, indeed, when I saw him "marching through the brackets." Without question, it would be a great win, but I'm favoring Rodney in this one.

I know

that this year is shaping up to be one of the most interesting of year's past.

Great matchups on the winner's side:

Parica/Mika ... Will Amang be the oldest US Open winner?
Archer/Peach ... Will Johnny make a comeback? Will the WPC winner win?
Rodney/Hohmann ... Rodney's a favorite of mine, but he will have to play real good to beat Thorsten. Thorsten also is ready to win this tournament.
Django/Alcano ... Will Django finally win? He is still a favorite over Alcano.

and the loser's side is also interesting to watch. Anyone notice that Warren Kiamco is still in the final 8 on the loser's side? After last year, who would have expected him to still be there?

Probably more if you get them wet...

Just like the Gremlins!

I'm pulling for a Parica vs Bustamante match up. At least one of them should be guaranteed a win :) both equally deserving

What's the over and under on the Archer-Peach match?
Two hours? :)
I think Alcano's the fave over Bustamante. Alcano, I think, thinks he can't lose.
I think Mika's the fave to win this though.
