Gold Crown 7 Revealed

Any word on price? I asked B'wick and Escalade(owners) and both have basically ghosted me. If this thing is as hi as last one they won't sell many. Diamond owns the new 9ft market and B'wick has little chance to catch up if price is too hi.

Im betting more than the current time GC. How often do you ever see a company offer a newer updated model for cheaper than the previous?

Probably right and they ain't gonna like the results. I'd buy a Diamond Professional over this any day. No way i'd blow an extra 3grand for one of these. I'd probably get a Rasson OX instead if i couldn't find a Diamond for sale. OX is a great playing table.

The price is going to shock you.

Yeah I don't see how anyone can justify paying 3k more than the price of a Diamond. Maybe just maybe 1k more but even in that case, why? Brunswick's pricing has basically removed them from consideration in recent years.

Brunswick since day 1 of Diamond’s existence in the early 90’s has been about double the price. The disparity is actually way closer these days.

But, the landscape is completely different. Brunswick was top dog then. Diamond is today.

Stil love GC's.
To me they feel heavier, more solid, than a Diamond even though they weigh about the same.
Put many hours in on a Gabriels 3 C table and would love to hit some on a Gabriels pocket billiard table.
Would love to try Rasson also.

I can tell you that the Gabriels tables at Country Retreat Family Billards they are absolutely the most SOLID feeling tables I’ve ever played on. Not sure a sumo wrestler could make one quake. The rails are slow though but they are older models.

I asked Oscar on messenger about the new 7 and if it’s boingy like diamond. He said it’s not even close and plays super true.

I’m feeling a lot better about it now.

I’m going to miss the expo by one week. I’ll be in Philly right afterwards:( I’m sorry I won’t be able to try it.

Hopefully see you when you get back into the area.

He will have them at his place. Go over and hit some around September.

$12,500 retail is a price drop. Do you know if that was ball return, or drop pocket?

The GC6 was 12,650 for the 9', drop pocket, 5" pocket. Ball return added about 1k, and 4.5" pockets about another 1k.

That is less than I expected. Anybody know the tariff situation? I know that is a moving target. I am thinking Rasson may have some problems. Not bringing up for the politics, just the price issues for US consumers.
I have a feeling they will be Brunswick will be hit with the tariffs as well seeing they are built in China. So it might be more than 12500 now.

Good. They don't belong here then.

Here I thought it was manufactured here in the good ole USA.

$12.5 for a chinese table with Brunswick branding is garbage.

Sure I’d like for Brunswick tables to be manufactured in the USA but that not the fault of Brunswick. That’s the fault of the global economic policies that our leaders have had no problem pushing and participating that benefit the wealthy. I’m sure Brunswick’s expectations are for the tables to be manufactured to their specifications. I’ll stop now since I’m pushing the envelope of this topic and forum category. 😉
