Here is a tour of GCB before the expansion:http://www.goldcrownbilliardseriepa.com/tour.html

We spent more than a year adding another restaurant/bar to the facility. The new facilty enables us to do things we have never been able to do before. The new place seats 160 and is called the "Bullfrog Bar". The theme is blues and sports. We play blues...nothin' but blues.

We cut a 30' by 30' hole in the old bars ceiling and created an atrium with a central staircase up to the new bar on the second floor. There is a banquet/party room, an outdoor balcony, a live entertainment area, a 9' by 14' projection screen, twelve 48" flat screens, two Diamond bar tables, a bar that seats 34, two entrances, two staircases, and comfortable seating around the atrium.

I will anounce the date this week of my next regional tournament. It will be some time in November. Come to Erie and make a weekend of it. You will have a unique poolroom experience. It will be a great time.

Hey , long way from you , but nice place . With cold weather coming looks like a nice place to hibernate . :):)

That's a really nice place, wish we had something like that around here. Are you allowed to smoke in any part of it?

Holy crap!!!:woot: I thought this place was awesome to begin with and now you have just made it better. I wasn't sure if that was possible but you did it. I live in Pittsburgh, so I will def. be making a trip there ASAP!!!

Love it love it love it! Thanks Paul for sharing the news about the expansion and the beautiful photos.

I should have worn a tie!!!

Dam that's a nice place. I may have to update my wardrobe.

Are you allowed to smoke in any part of it?

The blues, alcohol, and cigarettes all seem to go together. Its a culture thing.

We did design the place with full consideration of non-smokers. We strategically installed three brand new powerful HVAC units with many, many return air vents. No matter where a smoker sits, the smoke is pulled straight up into a vent and expelled outside. Fresh air is brought in. It is working well.

That is a very nice room! Should surely be in the Billiards Digest top ten rooms. As nice as any I saw in the magazine. You should submit it for next year.

Paul,

who designed this for you? It looks great!

This is post #1 and your name hints that you are from Erie. Who might you be?

I designed it. I did the floor plan, the design, and selected all the finishes. I particularly enjoyed developing the floor plan. I despise selecting finishes. This time, I only had to trash and re-do a few finishes (not cheap). I like what I got in the end.

Nice rrom and gesture!

Paul,

That is a gracious gesture for the WPBA players.

And your room is really nice. I have done several rooms and that remodeling can be a pain - but you did a stupendous job!

Congrats.
