Yeah, Yeah I screwed up the Thread Name. Brunswick Centennial Value.

What do you think a Brunswick Centennial table in supposed excellent condition is worth? Supposedly a 1946 model.

probably $4500 up.... are you selling one???

No, have a lead on one. But that is exactly what they are asking for it, $4500. I talked to him tonight on the phone and he or his wife don't EVEN PLAY POOL!!! He is a doctor who bought the house with the table in it and the guy who owned the house before had the table for 20 years. Not even sure it is a 9 footer but kinda looks like it from the photos. I may be able to get the price down a bit. He is going to send me some more pics and I may run down to take a look.

Its either this or I can get a 3-day used Gold Crown IV that was just used at the Women's Championships in Lincoln City, OR at Chinook Winds Casino for $5500...may be able to get that down a bit too.

correct me if i'm wrong, it should be an 8ft.. my parents have one and it's and 8....
When I went to UW we had a mix of 13 9-foot Anniversaries/Centennials, a 10' snooker, and a 3-cusion table...all the same year when the Union Building was built. So they come in 9 footers. Just depends if it is the aftermarket laminate wood one or the original full wood railed version. I do know they come in both models as 9 footers. My friend has the same table, 9 foot original model with Brazillian rosewood rails. Very rare and expensive. He bought it from the local VFW for $900 about 6 years ago. I hate him. He's been offered a new Gibson and $3K for it. Personally I'd have taken the deal but thats me.

Why not consider a 9ft Diamond for less than either of them, and by the way...that's a 9ft in the picture.

Lincoln City Table

Unless they played on a Gold Crown IV for the finals in Lincoln City, OR this year I didn't see any Gold Crowns there. Most of the play I saw was on the Newer Brunswick table w/ the round column legs. I forget the name currently. Super wide top rails on them though, and they play pretty good. The Parlour in Bellevue has 3 of them in one of their private rooms. The Diamond table would be a good table to have if the price is right. Maybe Glenn would have a lead on 1 up here in the NW for you.

That's why I mentioned the Diamond...I'm heading to Vegas to pick up an IPT 9ft delivering it to Sacramento to a guy there, recovering 3 9ft Gold Crown 4's & fixing the slates and pockets on them at Tc's Billiards in Sacramento, recovering 2 tables at the Country Girl Saloon in the grapevine, recovering a Diamond 9ft Pro am in LA then coming back home to Federal Way to spend Christmas, then off to New Mexico, up to Kansas City, then back to the Diamond factory to pick up more tables...lmao...I'd fit it in somewhere in there...lol...but probably before christmas anyway.

I got an email from the seller. i guess it is a 4x8 which I am not interested in. I told him to still send me pics. It does look like a 9 footer in the pics. Maybe he is measuring it wrong.

Are there Diamond light distrubuters closer to the west coast? Are there other used IPT tables available? Looking on the Diamond website for milage at $1.40/mile from Indiana would be aboue $3300 shipping which is about what the table is worth. At least theres a Brunswick dealer here in Portland.

You really cannot tell table size from a photo. The simplest and most reliable method I know of is to measure across the table from the tips of the rails. A 9' table should be 50" across and 100" long from tip to tip.

As for the price you do *occasionally* see these for a lot less (I almost had one in the So. Cal aread for $1800 but it turned out to be a 8.5' mode) If this table is actually 9' and you absolutely set of having a classic like this buy it if you don't want to wait for another one to come along at a better price.

Otherwise for $4500 you can pretty much take your pick on a modern top-end commercial table like a Diamond, Gabriels, Olhausen or Brunswick Gold Crown.

How about trading one of those used Diamonds you have for a 9 ft Antique Brunswick "Homewood" table, even trade.....

Since you're coming to KC it makes me wonder if my buddy actually bought one of those tables from you.

If his name is kyle...no, his 9ft is a 9ft Diamond Professional.
