Steve,

GC 2 10 ft billiard table is closer to 1400 lbs.... Nice table Kleber $600, rapide $400, heat with thermostat $300... sounds super fair to me.

Thanks Jay,

A1 Billiards is one of the premier billiard /refurbishers/installers/deliverers in the country located in Mass.

I stand corrected. 1400 lbs.

I think, whoever wants to buy this table need to U-haul-it himself! :D Funner and cheaper that way.

I am interested in a table as well, but I live in Turkey, so how much would the shipping costs be to 13,000 miles away??? :D

Aside from the joke, I am seriously thinking of buying a used Platin brand name table (It is a Turkish brand name currently being used in Egyptian, Swedish and Turkish tournaments as I noticed in online videos and I believe they make tables for Gabriels brand as well) The price is $1000, exactly half, comes with same materials, 4 house cues, cue stand, score counter, aramith balls etc.

I notice, is there a score counter directly on the table of this GC table?
It personally looks very pool tableish to me with the metal legs and all, but nevertheless, it is a catch for a hard to find carom table in U.S. That is a fact. Good luck to the seller and I apologize if I "intervened", so to speak :)

Now allow me to ask. I have been told by several different individuals, that, when you buy a carom table (to be re-installed by the installers) the cloth needs to be changed as well! Does this hold any truth? Meaning, do you have to put a new cloth installed on it if you were to buy, say, this GC table? That is what I was told by the Turkish installers here. If this holds truth (or I do not know what is the reasoning behind this) an additional $400 needs to be added to total costs for a new Simonis 300 (actually they are $100 cheaper here)

Now should I buy a high end Layani or Adam, or the carom table...big conundrum for me

I can't imagine buying a billiard table and not starting out with new cloth.

But the future owner can use the rapide 300 cloth thats there with the rails still covered.

I would buy both.

Remember I sell Adam and Layani.

:):) Nice! Thank you. I would buy, but only for an extremely competitive price. :)

Ipitythefool,

Wow, extremely competitive!

Not sure what that means until you pick a model.

Steve, that means:
What is the very best price you can give on a
- Danny Sanchez (DS-1)
- Solid Max ACSS (made in japan shaft, if you have, or can give me a price)
- and how much are we looking at for a Blankenberge III?

If you have any used ones of the above, or any Layani, Alcalde, Adam or Longoni, for that matter, pls let me know. Thanks.

Steve,

The cloth can be re used, if taken off the slate frames carefully (no ripping out the staples with the bed cloth) and the rails are perfectly fine just the way they are. I've done this procedure many times with excellent results. Call me if you have any questions.

Jay
