Good hitting customs that use 3/8 x 10 pin size?

for that you could get almost anything on here. i'd go for a bryan mordt or an andy gilbert. i've always wanted to try a cog/hunter though.

I love my cog. Now if I could just get the cue ball to agree with me I'd be a real force.

I have my eyes on a Andy Gilbert cue I found on sale. It's a bit over my budget, but it looks nice and unique, at least to me. I'm in the process of e-mailing the person who has it at the moment.

All the shafts I have a 3/8x10 pin size and I'd still like to continue using those shafts. I'm just looking for a custom cue maker that has a solid reputation and makes a good hitting cue that has a 3/8 x 10 pin. I intend to play with this so I'm only looking to buy a cue that can hold up to a little abuse.

Wide open. There's so many custom cue builders that use the 3/8th-10 pin now, it might be the most common joint thread today.

I could sit here and start rattling off names, but I'll just put up a vote for Andy Gilbert.

Haha yeah. That went out the door when I saw the purpleheart. Eh. I figured I'll spend a little more money on a cue this time. Now I'm thinking about buying another cue next year though.

OMG that cue is *awesome*! I really don't see how you could have come out of this better. Purpleheart is Andy's favorite wood. That thing is gonna hit like a freighttrain! Love it!

I make some very soild hitting full splice customs with that pin. And I Have many other cues as well. Dan Axe
