Good machine shop tutorials. Video.

For those who have any interest at all in machining this is a very good site-especially for beginers.

In the search box type in "Machine Shop" and there is a series of 10 machine shop related videos. They are professional quality and run 30-45mins each. They start out with the basics and cover both milling and lathe work. Videos 8 and 9 cover the lathe. The demo machine is a Monarch 10EE.

Follow Eddie's first post instead of his second. Putting "machine shop" in the sites search box does work.

I watched most of the lathe videos and they were very well done. He covered the basics in a clear, understandable way. One thing he did miss (unless I didn't get to it on the videos) was centering the tool.
